Bhaderwah: As the by election for Srinagar- Budgam Lok Sabha seat comes closer prominent people of Bhaderwah constituency today hold a high level emergency meeting in the premises of hotel city center and expressed strong resentment over the ignoring of Bhaderwah constituency for not giving MLC berth to any leader of PDP .Details available with this media person reveal that around 100 local people various villages and areas of Bhaderwah constituency organized a meet demanding that senior party leader of Bhaderwah be inducted to the upper house of state legislature.” We were promised by PDP high command many a times that Sheikh Mehboob Iqbal General Secretary of PDP would be inducted as an MLC as he had got 17000 votes in assembly elections . Now few seats of MLCs are falling vacant soon and it is the time for party to fulfill its promise” said Abdul Quyoom Shenali a renowned social worker of nagar Bhaderwah . He claimed that from the day of formation of government by PDP Bhaderwah leadership is being ignored and if PDP high command gave MLC berth to Bhaderwah it will boost morale of Bhaderwah people . He demanded from Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti to look into the matter and give MLC berth to Bhaderwah in the interest of public .
