Kashmir shuts on Modi’s visit
Srinagar: A complete shutdown is being observed in Kashmir on Sunday on Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to the state.
Call for the shutdown has been given by joint resistance leadership comprising Syed Ali Geelani, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and Muhammad Yasin Malik.
All shops business and establishments are closed while as traffic is off the roads in the summer capital.
Reports of shutdown have reached from all the ten valley districts.
The inter district transport services are suspended however, private transport was plying on the roads.
Modi has to inaugurate 9.2 km long Nashri-Chenani tunnel. He is also scheduled to address a public meeting in Udhampur district.
