Failure of Govt results in flood like situation: Mirza Sajad Husain Beigh

Srinagar, Apr 07 : Senior Rashtriya Jankranti Party (RJP) leader and parliament by-poll candidate for Srinagar seat, Mirza Sajad Husain Beigh Friday welcomed the Bharatiya Janata Party workers of Ganderbal district in the party fold.

The statement issued to KNS reads that the various BJP workers including District President Ganderbal Haleema Ji, Constituency Incharge Muhammad Sultan Bhat, Vice constituency president Muhammad Maqbool Baba, District Secretary Abdul Khaliq Dar, Secretary Gulshana Ji and others joined the RJP party today in a function held at Kangan Geer area of Ganderbal district.

Mirza welcomed the newly inducted workers in the party fold.

While addressing in gathering during the function, Mirza told the newly inducted party workers, “I assure you of full support in every aspect.”

He also assured the party workers that all their genuine demands will be raised to end their plights.

Mirza held the incumbent regime responsible for the flood like situation in the Valley. “The government has failed to complete the dredging process which resulted in the flood like situation in the Valley,” he added.

He said that besides dredging, the government has also failed to repair the choked drains especially in Srinagar that submerged the roads; lanes and interiors thereby resulted in hardships to the people.
