Ambedkar Jayanti celebrated in Bhaderwah

BHADERWAH,APR 14– Bharat Rattan, Baba Saheb Dr BR Ambedkar Jyanti was celebrated by All J&K Guru Ravi Dass Sabha, Bhaderwah in collaboration with SC /ST/OBC Youth Committee Dalian here today in the premises of temple in Dalian village Bhaderwah . All participants paid tributes to Baba Saheb.Addressing the gathering, Parshotam Kumar President SC/ST/OBC youth Committee said that Dr BR Ambedkar was a great visionary, champion of downtrodden and father of Indian Constitution. He always fought for social and economic equality and universal brotherhood, he said and advised the people to follow the path shown by Shri Guru Ravi Dass Ji Maharaj and Baba Sahib.Swami Raj President Guru Ravi Dass Sabha in his address said that it is all due to Baba Saheb that political and service class reservation is provided to the downtrodden communities like SC, ST and OBCs. He said government should provide justice to the under-privileged and give all facilities to SC, ST and OBCs.He alleged that in whole Bhaderwah constituency Dalian village is based on 100% SC population but instead of that Dalian village is without dispensary , road link and other basic facilities . He demanded that modern village should be created in Dalian village of Bhaderwah for upliftment of under-privileged people . Those who spoke on the occasion included Ajay Kumar , Biharai Lal , Lochu Ram , Baldev Raj , Om Raj , Rakesh Kumar , Raksha Badotra , Rakesh Basotra and others also spoke on the occasion .Meanwhile District Congress Committee Dodaled by MLC Naresh Kumar Gupta celebrated Birth Anniversary of Dr. B.R Ambedkar in its office with great fervour. MLC along with other congress workers presented garland and flowers on the photo of B.R Ambedkar. While highlighting his achievements Naresh Kumar Gupta said that Ambedkar always stood by the poor and down trodden people and was a real social worker. He said that as a Chairman of the Constitution Drafting Committee his greatest gift to India was the world’s biggest Constitution which envisaged security to every citizen of India irrespective of caste , colour and creed. He was the real architect of the Indian Constitution. Workers present in function were Wasim Ganai , Ashraf Butt , Kamran Ganai , Dharampal Dogra , Chuni Lal , Ab Quyom Khan ,Saleem Wani ,Zargam Mughal , Kulbhushan Kotwal and others.
