Anantnag : A grand function was held at high ground Anantnag by Army’s 1 Rashtriya Rifles ( Mahar) to felicitate the young sports persons for their achievements at National and international level.
The function was presided over by Brigadier Raja Chakraborty, Commander Khanabal Sector.
Mr. S.P. Pani , Deputy Inspector General of Police ( SK range), Mr. Mohsin Shahidi, DIG ( CRPF), Mr. Zubair Khan SSP Anantnag and Mr. Rajnish Ahlawat., Commandant CRPF 40 Bn were the special guests .
4 sports persons were falicitated on the occasion for their achievements in Tycon duo .
They are Sidrat Ul Muntaha ( Silver medal) , Intishab Dar ( Silver medal) Sheikh Farhan ( Bronze Medal) and Coach & Co ordinator Chinar 9 Jawan club. 3 sports persons In national level Kickboxing Champions were also felicitated.
They are Hafira Nisar ( Bronze medal) , Irtiza Nisar ( Gold Medal) and Muntaha Mattoo ( Gold Medal).
National Science Olympiad & talent research ( NEESF) Exam students were also felicitated . The 3 students got Gold medal. They are. Faisal Imtiyaz ( Class X ) Muntazir Altaf ( Class 7th) and Dheeraj Kumar ( Class 6th)
Sehla Fayaz of Class 3rd got 18th position at state level in talent research ( NEESF Exam) among all AGS schools.
Mr. Manzoor Ahmad Palla, Principal of High ground Anantnag again was also awarded for his dedication, devotion , determination and hardwork by the Brigadier Raja Chakraborty.
Mr. IMON, CO 1 Rashtriya Rifles Thanked the guests and assured full support to the sports persons and other talented students of South Kashmir in future too.
Large number of students, their parents, teachers, media persons and respected citizens participated in the function and were all praise for Army for such kind of programmes.
