Police say four men identified in Rashid Billa’s killing

 

Srinagar: Police Tuesday said that have identified the four persons including two locals involved in the killing of former government gunmen Rashid Billa.

Infamous Ikhwani gunman Rashid Billa was shot dead on Sunday evening by suspected militants at his house in Hajin area of North Kashmir’s Bandipora district.

Superintendent of Police Bandipora, Zulfikar Azad told CNS that shortly after the killing investigation was set into motion and so for four persons have been identified. “The role of four persons, two locals and two non-local militants has been established. All the four accused are absconding,” he said.

Meanwhile, SSP Shopian Tahir Saleem Khan said that all efforts are on to trace the killers of former Public Prosecutor Imtiyaz Ahmed Khan. “A special team has been constituted and investigation is going on at breakneck,” he said. (CNS)
