Srinagar, April 22: Seven persons were injured in separate road accidents in the valley.
In Anantnag, an unknown vehicle collided with a motorcycle at Pazalpora in the jurisdiction of Police Station Bijbehara, resulting in injuries to Mohammad Younis Lone, Gulzar Ahmad Bhat, Khursheed Ahmad Lone residents of Semthan Bijbehara. All the injured were shifted to Bijbehara hospital for treatment where from they were shifted to Bone and Joints Hospital Srinagar for further treatment. Anantnag police has registered a case in this regard.
In Awantipora, an accident took place between a motorcycle and a Maruti car at Buchoo in the jurisdiction of Police Station Tral, resulting in injuries to the motorcyclist namely Momin-ul-Ashraf resident of Buchoo, Tral. The injured was shifted to Sub District Hospital Tral for treatment, where from he was shifted to SMHS hospital Srinagar for further treatment. Awantipora police has registered a case in this regard.
In Kulgam, an accident took place a trawler bearing registration number JK22-0313 and a Tata mini bus bearing registration number JK03-1071 met with an accident near FCIin the jurisdiction of Police Post Mirbazar, resulting in injuries to two passengers namely Mohammad Shafi Beigh resident of Khrewan and Abdul Rashid Shala resident of Mugulgund, Qazigund. Both the injured were shifted to hospital for treatment.
In another accident, an unknown motorcyclist hit and injured a lady namely Haneefa Begum resident of Bona, Devsar at Devsar. The injured was shifted to District Hospital Kulgam for treatment where from she was shifted to SKIMS Soura for further treatment.
Kulgam police has registered cases regarding both the accidents.
