Pulwama: Continuing its drive against the drug menace, J&K Pulwama Police have arrested three notorious drug peddlers and recovered 47 bottles of CODOREX (codein phosphate), an amount of Rs.136,410 and one syringe filled with Calmpose and two empty vials were also recovered from their possession.
The arrested drug peddlers have been identified as Umer feroz, S/o Feroz Ahmad Bhat, Zulfikar shafi Malik, S/o Mohd. Shafi Malik, Resident Dalipora and Danish Nazir Misgar, S/o Nazir Ahmad Misgar, Resident Chatapora Pulwama.
Meanwhile, a case has been registered against the arrested persons under FIR No 138/17 U/S 8/21 NDPS Act. and investigation was taken.
This is not the single case when such notorious peddlers are arrested, there has been a continuous drive against the drug menace by Pulwama Police.
