Ganderbal Degree college students hold protest

Ganderbal:- Day long clashes erupted between students of Degree College Ganderbal and government forces on Wednesday in this central Kashmir Ganderbal.
Sources said that police resorted to teargas shelling to disperse the protesting students, triggering clashes in the area.
Earlier the students boycotted their classes and assembled premises of college to stage protest against the police crackdown on Government Degree college Pulwama on 15 April, which left over 50 students injures, during brief protest scores of students come out of college premises and shouting “We want freedom” and “Go India, go back” fought with government forces after taking to the streets of Duderhama Ganderbal.
Amid pro-freedom and anti-India sloganeering, the students tried to march towards the main market but the forces didn’t allow them to move forward thereby triggering clashes.
Meanwhile. few students around the same number of police were wounded during protest in Central Ganderbal.
