Jammu: An Army jawan allegedly committed suicide by shooting himself near the Line of Control in Rajouri district of Jammu and Kashmir.
“A jawan identified as Vishal Lohar of 5 Rashtriya Rifles last evening shot himself with his service rifle while on duty in Laam area of Nowshera sector close to LoC,” police here today said.
They said that his colleagues rushed to the spot and found him in pool of blood.
He was rushed to the hospital where he was declared brought dead.
