Baqir Rizvi meeting with Amit Shah Triggered debate in Kargil

Kargil: Political Uncertainty is the major issue of Politics in Kargil. A hot political debate triggered in Kargil recently after MLA Zanaskar Aga Syed Baqir Rizvi called Amit shah in Jammu. He was accompanying with former MLC and NC leader Aga Syed Ahmed Rizvi.
Aga Syed Baqir Rizvi who won assembly election from Zanaskar constituency was backed by Anjuma e Sahib Zaman (Pro NC religious group of Sankoo Kargil). Soon after the election an advisory committee was framed to decide Baqir’s affiliation and support in the new government. This advisory committee was supported by Anjuman Sahib Zaman as well. When BJP and PDP decided to form government the advisory committee which was also supported by NC leader decided that Aga baqir would support PDP in the coalition.
The advisory group was led by NC leader Aga Syed Ahmed Rizvi and NC’s sitting councilors Tsering Angdus and Punchok Tashi. Tsering Angdus and Punchok Tashi both are supporters are union Territory and know very close to Aga Baqir.
On 8 April the advisory committee of Baqir Rizvi Threatened PDP to withdraw their support if their demands would not be full filled and on 18 April Aga Baqir voted BJP.
The People’s Democratic Party-led Government on Monday sacked MLA Zanskar, Baqir Rizvi as Vice-Chairman of J&K Building & Other Construction Workers Welfare Board and withdrew the Minister of State status conferred on him. The development comes after Baqir ditched PDP and voted for its ally BJP during the Legislative Council elections held earlier in the day.
Sources said that the major game was played by NC leaders behind the curtains through Aga Baqir to withdraw transfer order of former NC Minister Qammar Ali Akhone’s brother, Dr Jaffer Akhone as chief Medical officer Kargil.
The day the Baqir rizvi met Shah, Dr Jaffer was transferred back to Kargil from Sirnagar .
However, there is huge resentment in Anjuman against Aga Baqir and Syed Ahmed Rizvi’s meeting with BJP brass. While as the NC high-command is silent over the support of Baqir Rizvi by their leaders of Kargil to Vote and Support BJP.
