Amid tight security, Civil Secretariat to resume in Srinagar tomorrow

CM to receive Guard of honour
Srinagar: The civil secretariat will resume functioning tomorrow (Monday) in Srinagar after being moved from Jammu after six months.
Besides the civil secretariat, the official work station of chief minister, ministers and bureaucrats, the Governor’s office, Raj Bhawan will also start working in the Valley from tomorrow.

 

Jahangir flyover leading to the civil secretariat, the seat of the Government being cleaned with water by the SMC workers ahead of reopening of bi annual “Darbar” move office in Srinagar on Sunday.

The Srinagar administration has made all arrangements for the opening of the high seat of the governance, with main roads leading to the secretariat have been painted, and security tightened. Officials said that work will begin from 9:30 AM to 5 PM at the Secretariat.
Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti is scheduled to receive Guard of Honour at the Secretariat premises from police and other forces.
