Momento wins Ganderbal champions league

Ganderbal: Memento cricket club Watlar on Sunday won Ganderbal Champions league against the Rather Badshas Manigam with 77 runs at Benhama in Central Ganderbal.
The tournament was organised by local youth organisation at Benhama Ganderbal.
At least two dozen teams of Ganderbal including out of district teams participated in the tournament.
Momento Watlar won the toss and elect to bat first and set a huge target of 193 runs in front of R.B Manigam. The energetic players of Momento doing best during the first round. Momentos player namely Mushtaq Ahmad made 36 and Mudasir Ahmad 93 runs.
However, while chasing the target R.B Manigam started with poor bat and lost three consecutive wickets in the initial over’s of the second innings.
With perfect bating of Mudasir Ahmad who scored 94 runs in 42 balls given as man of the match award. Khursheed Ahmad of R. B Manigam was given best fielder of tournament, Inayat Rather of best keeping, Danish of R.B Manigam as best bowler,Fayaz Ahmad as best catches in tournament, Fayaz Ahmad of Showkken cricket club Benhama was awarded man of the series in this tournament.
On the occasion, both winner and runner up teams were given trophies, and other prizes
All the matches were played at same Cricket Stadium, Benhama. The final was played between Momentos Watlar and R.B Manigam. The finals were witnessed by Ganderbal Journalist association president with other media reporters and other prominent civil personalities whose presence was a source of inspiration for all the players.
Addressing the gathering President GJA Sheikh Matloob complemented all the teams for their exceptional sporting talent.
