KULGAM: Heavy hailstorm have caused extensive damages to the crops and damaged fruit bearing trees particularly apple variety, walnuts, Maiz in Kulgam district of south Kashmir.
The hail stones rained for more than 15 minutes in the area causing extensive damage to the crops besides decimated orchard. Fruit growers have appealed government to provide compensation to the affected people.
