We didn’t kill Lt Ummer Fayyaz: Salahuddin

Srinagar: Hizbul Mujahideen chief and United Jihad Council (UJC) chairman Syed Sallahuddin on Friday said that it has no role in killing Indian Army Lieutenant Ummar Fayyaz of Kulgam district and blamed Indian agencies for the murder.

According to a statement issued here, Syed Saluddin while addressing special session of UJC said that “our movement has no global agenda and is aimed at ending Indian occupation.” “Our movement has no global agenda and neither any external power is involved in it. India has planned to launch ISIS-type terror organization in Kashmir. ISIS is creation of western powers and has been created to destabilize Muslim Ummah and jihadi organizations,” he said.

Salahuddin while condemning the murder of Lt Ummar said that Indian agencies want to achieve dual targets by blaming militants for his killing. “Lt Ummar belonged to a pro-freedom family. Mujahideen are not involved in his killing and he has been murdered on the behest of Indian agencies,” he said. (GNS)
