Hizb threatens joint resistance over Kashmir stance

Asks them not to meddle in ‘path of implementing Islamic rule’

Srinagar: Hizbul Mujahideen commander Zakir Musa on Friday openly warned the joint resistance leadership against “meddling in our path of implementing the Islamic rule” and “stop playing politics of hypocrisy” and misleading people in the name of religion.

In an audio clip released on Friday which has gone viral, the young militant commander slammed the resistance leadership for claiming that “the freedom struggle of Kashmir is a political one and not Islamic”.

“If our struggle is not Islamic then why these (Hurriyat) people have been raising slogans like ‘Azadi Ka Matlab Kya, La Ilaha Ilallah (What does freedom mean? There is no god but Allah); Pakistan Se Rishta Kya La Ilaha Ilallah’ (What is our bond with Pakistan? There is no god but Allah). We want to ask these hypocrites why they have been using mosques for politics and participate in funerals of mujahideen,” said Zakir, who took over the command of Hizb-ul-Mujahideen after the killing of Burhan Wani last year.

“If you have to do your dirty politics do it in your homes”. “Hum Kuffaar Ko Chod Kar Pehle Aap Ko Latkaye Gey, Lal Chowk Mein Galay Kaatain Gey (Before Kuffaar, we’ll hang you in Lal Chowk),” Musa said, adding, “Our struggle is only and only for the glory of Islam and we’ll implement the Shari’ah In Sha Allah.”

According to news agency GNS, the Hizb commander added: “I’m not any Islamic scholar but our Ulema (Islamic scholars) are corrupt and are not doing their job of making people aware of the ‘Taghoot’ (falsehood) as they fear persecution.”

Quoting Qur’anic verse, Zakir said “Sur’ah Nisa verse 60 aptly fits on these hyporcrites who refer their cases to Taghut (falsehood) while they have been ordered to reject it”.

“These are political leaders and people take them as Islamic leaders. They frequently invoke Islam but pin hopes on ‘Taghoot’. I request people to implement Islam on yourself and hold tight the rope of Allah,” the Hizb commander said.

“Ishq Qaatil Se Bhi Maqtool Se Humdardi Bhi, Ye Bata Kis Se Mohabbat Ki Jazaa Maange Gaa; Sajda Khaliq Ko Bhi Iblees Se Yaarana Bhi, Hashr Me Kis Se Aqeedat Ka Sila Maange Gaa… Translation: (You love the murderer and have a soft corner for the murdered one, Just tell me, who will you ask for the reward of your love?’; You prostrate the creator and are good friends with the devil, On the Day of Judgement, who will you ask for the reward of your piety!!!),” Zakir invoked the famous couplet of Allama Iqbal.
