Jammu: A Jawan shot himself to death in Reasi district of Jammu and Kashmir today.
“An information was received through Army authorities that one Naik Ashok deployed at Post Number 2 in HQ CIF (U) this morning died due to gunshot injury inflicted by himself,” police sources here said.
They said that the body has been shifted to MI room of HQ CIF (U).
“To ascertain the cause of death, inquest proceedings would be carried under section 174 of CrPC,” police added.
