Zakir Musa issues another audio, vows to fight India
Srinagar: Militant commander Zakir Musa Monday said that the militants operating in Kashmir follow the same ideology and his disassociation from Hizbul Mujhadeen will not make any difference.
Zakir Musa on Monday released his third audio clip that went viral on Monday. In this 7.7 audio clip, Zakir says that his resolve to “seek freedom for Kashmir remained intact”.
Zakir said “all the Mujahideen (militants) in Kashmir follow the same ideology”. However he says “despite differences we would not allow India to take undue advantage.”
“All the Mujahideen (militants) firmly believe in Shariyat and Shahadat,” Zakir says in his audio message
“Perhaps I was not worth leading you, I believe you will get more able person than me,” he said while apparently referring to Hizbul Mujhadeen.
“We should not become Nazam parast (pro-party) or Qaum parast (Nationalist),” he says.
Zakir who headed the Hizb ul Mujahideen following the death of Burhan Wani last year had threatened to kill Kashmir’s pro-freedom leaders and hang their heads at Lal Chowk in Srinagar. The Hizb however distanced itself from the statement leading to his quitting the outfit.
