Women raises ‘Freedom’ Slogans in Mehbooba’s function

Alleges they had been brought to SKICC fraudulently

SRINAGAR: Scores of women raised “Azadi slogans” at a function in SKICC, Srinagar after throwing furniture and bottles towards the dice leaving the chief minister Mehbooba Mufti and organizers surprised.

Reports said that Rural Development Department had organized a meeting of Self Help Groups at SKICC to interact with CM.

Reports said that the trouble started very early at the gate of SKICC when women participants objected to enter the SKICC alleging they had been brought to SKICC fraudulently.

However, the organizers somehow managed the situation and brought them in.

Reports said that amidst anger of the women participants as the chief minister appeared in the lawns of SKICC after delivering lecture inside, the angry participants started raising “Azadi slogans” and threw chairs, water bottles and other furniture towards the dice.
