Bullet-ridden body of LeT ‘OGW’ found in Pulwama
Srinagar: Protests erupted today after body of man was found with bullet marks in Gudoora area of Pulwama district in South Kashmir.
According to GNS correspondent, bullet-riddled body of one Muhammad Yousuf Lone son of Sana-ul-lah Lone resident of Gudoora, Pulwama was found at Gudoora. Local reports said that the slain was an overground worker of LeT outfit. Soon after news about his death spread, hundreds of people rushed to the spot and staged pro-freedom and anti-India protests.
The locals of Gudoora accused government forces of killing the man. Some militants appeared at the funeral of the slain and fired in air. He was laid to rest amid sobs and tears. Police however said that the slain was not killed by government forces but militants. “During the initial investigation, it was revealed that the deceased was fired upon by militants during the intervening night of 18-19 May 2017. A case FIR number 174/2017 under section 302 RPC and 7/27 Arms Act has been registered in PS Pulwama.
