Firdous Ahmad Shah pays tribute to slain militants, civilian, Hails people for their “exemplary velour and bravery”
Srinagar, May 27 : Senior separatist leader and Chairman Democratic Political Movement Saturday paid tributes to slain Rebels Sabzar Ahmed and Faizan Ahmed, saying these youths are “sacrificing their precious lives for a sacred cause.”
He also condemned the brutal killing of a civilian Molvi Aqib of Tral at the hands of Indian Forces.
“It is a cherished and patriotic mission and these youths are putting a huge responsibility on our shoulders. We are duty bound to carry their mission to its logical end, said Firdous Ahmad Shah said in a statement to KPS.
He said that people of state are not war mongers, “but through peaceful means urging India and world community to fulfill their pledge and resolve the political future of state.”
He said “forced occupation is the root cause of all bloodshed in state and it is heart wrenching that precious lives are being lost because of prevailing uncertainty and forced occupation.”
He hailed people for their “exemplary velour and bravery” and said that it is praiseworthy that “people while risking their lives are coming to the rescue of their brave hearts.”
“They are resisting forces and facilitate safe passage for our youth & it serves an eye opener and precedence for those sick-minded who for petty gains are providing inputs to forces,” said he said.
