Modi to arrive soon at Elysee Palace for meeting with French officials
PARIS :(UNI) Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who arrived here last evening from Russia, will shortly visit the official Elysee Palace where he will be welcomed by top French officials.
Mr Modi, who will reach the Elysee Palace at 1500 hrs, has a hectic day of engagements ahead of him on the last leg of his six day-four nation tour.
This will be the first meeting between Mr Modi and French President Emmanuel Macron, who recently was voted to power in French general elections.
In a tweet, the PM said ‘Reached France for a vital visit to enhance ties with one of our most important strategic partners.
‘ Prior to delegation level in the evening, there will be restricted meeting between the Indian and French sides where a host of issues will come up for discussion including the Paris Climate Treaty.
