SRINAGAR:National Sample Survey Office (NSSO) Srinagar is going to celebrate Annual Statistics Day on 29th June 2017. The day is celebrated to create awareness among people about the role of statistics in socio-economic planning and policy formulation of the country.
NSSO under the Ministry of Statistics and Program implementation, Government of India has chosen the theme of “administrative statistics” for the year 2017. Such statistics according to NSSO are generated through activities like registration, transaction, implementation, monitoring and record keeping.
In this connection NSSO seeks presentation papers from interested scholars, researchers, teachers, experts, and students who would like to participate in the program. June 20th has been fixed as the deadline for the submission of the articles in person, by mail, or on official email idsfodro.srn@gmail.com and sgr.admn@gmail.com. The venue for celebration of Statistics Day will be notified separately by NSSO.
