Two persons injured in Sonamarg road accident

Ganderbal: Two persons received serious injuries when an innova car plunged into Sindh river in this famous tourist destination of Sonamarg in this central district Ganderbal on Monday morning.
As per the reports available, two persons were traveling in the ill-fated Innova car bearing registration number Jk01T-9484, was on its way to Srinagar when it skidded off the road and plunged into Sind river near Ahsan resort.
The Inova vehicle was on its way to Srinagar from Leh, when the driver lost control its and it plunged into Sindh near Ahsan resort of Sonamarg, sources said.
After getting information a police team rushed to the spot and with the help of locals, immediately launched a rescue operation, putting their lives at risk and try to rescue them.
As per the reports after a massive rescue operation one person rescued earlier while the driver went missing, later with luck the driver of innova rescued and shifted him to hospital, both were received series injuries.
The two were identified as Krishan Kant Bala son of Mangat Ram Bala resident of Ramvishwar atemple Jawhar Nagar Srinagar and driver Fayaz Ahmad, a resident of Kamarwari Srinagar.
