US Secretary of State greets Muslims on Eid-ul-Fitr
New Delhi: US Secretary of State Rex Tillerson has greeted the Muslims across the world on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr.
Mr Tillerson in his message said, “I convey our warmest wishes to our Muslim friends around the world.
This holiday marks the culmination of Ramadan, a holy month in which many experience meaning and inspiration in acts of fasting, prayer, and charity”.
The Secretary of State said that Muslims in the United States and around the world celebrate the completion of their fast and commitment to compassion and goodwill.
He said Embassies and Consulates across the world recognise the occasion as an opportunity to work with one another to build peaceful and prosperous communities. (UNI)
