Washington, Jun 25 : Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived here today from Lisbon on the second leg of his three-nation tour during which he would hold his much-talked about first meeting with US President Donald Trump.
Mr Modi will also address CEOs of top companies and meet the Indian diaspora.
Ahead of Mr Modi, Mr Trump called him a “true friend” and said he was looking forward to the meeting.
“Look forward to welcoming India’s PM Modi to @WhiteHouse on Monday.
Important strategic issues to discuss with a true friend!” Mr Trump tweeted.
