Er. Rasheed dares law makers to call J&K India’s integral part anywhere but without security
SRINAGAR: Police today foiled anti GST March of AIP near civil secretariat after arresting more than hundred protesters and lodged them in police Stations at Shaheed Gunj, Karan Nagar, Batmaloo and Shergadhi. Defying strict restrictions, hundreds of protesters lead by Er. Rasheed gathered near Jahangir Chowk and started marching towards civil secretariat shouting anti GST slogans. However huge contingent of police and Para-military forces used force to disperse the protesters and dragged dozens ruthlessly and lodged them in various police stations. Later Er. Rasheed protested again at the main gate of secretariat and prevented few ministers, MLA’s and bureaucrats from entering the secretariat. However police swung into action and detained Er. Rasheed but released him after some time. Later in the day Er. Rasheed had heated arguments with BJP president Satpal Sharma over his remarks on Shama Prasad Mukharjee and Karan Singh. Er. Rasheed retreated his stand that dreams of Shama Prasad Mukharjee will never come true and lashed out at BJP Members for praising Hari Singh and added that how can both Hari Singh and Sheikh Sahab be the Hero’s as one has to be the villain. Er. Rasheed challenged BJP MLA’s to visit Martyrs graveyard on 13thJuly to prove that they believe in the constitution of state. Later speaking in the assembly over GST. Er. Rasheed said that we the people of Jammu & Kashmir are thankful to New Delhi for bringing GST, as it has exposed New Delhi not only before people of India but before entire world for the fact that the constitutional hurdles in extending GST to J&K are ample proof that J&K is not India’s integral part. Addressing the Assembly Er. Rasheed said “If New Delhi is really worried about financial implications of GST in case of not implementing it in J&K, it must allow people of J&K to have trade with central Asia via Azad Kashmir. New Delhi has caged people of J&K and is depriving them of political, financial and human rights.” Er. Rasheed added that since PDP lead Govt. has required numbers as such they can do any damn thing to save power. He added “While NC ditched people by burying plebiscite front and signing shameless Indra Abdullah accord in 1975, PDP is shamelessly indulged in burying every rights of the people of state. While the confirmed reports suggest that Hasid Drabu is eying to become RBI Governor as a reward to his sellout over GST, he should never do so by selling out self respect and rights of people of state. Govt. has already succumbed to the calendars of Syed Salah-ud-din and NIA raids have failed to make any impact on the ground”. Commenting on the NIA raids Er. Rasheed asked Mehbooba Mufti that she has lost the moral right to be in office as she was unaware even after ten hours the raids were carried and extending the domain of NIA to the state is itself dilution of Autonomy. Er. Rasheed challenged those claiming J&K to be India’s integral part to say so without security in any part of Kashmir. Er. Rasheed warned pseudo intellectuals and communal forces not to defame Muslims by calling them Wahabis and Salfies and added that being Wahabi or Salfi is a proud and honour and nobody has a right to pass any obnoxious remarks towards Islam. Er. Rasheed amid huge noise from all members reiterated that if seeking right to self determination amounts to being a traitor, then Jawahar Lal Nehru was biggest traitor on earth.
