Will undertake Cabinet expansion after consulting Rahul Gandhi: CM
Bengaluru: Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah today indicated that he would expand his ministry shortly.
Talking to newsmen here, he said that the expansion would take place after consultations with AICC Vice President Rahul Gandhi.
He said he would take up the issue with Mr Gandhi shortly and could not do so in his previous visit to New Delhi as the AICC Vice President was away from the country.
He ruled out any reshuffle in the Ministry and said that exercise would take place only to fill in three vacant berths in the Cabinet.
About release of water from river Cauvery to Tamil Nadu, the Chief Minister said that only small quantity was released that too after ensuring that there is sufficient inflow. (UNI)
