Sushma flays Sartaz Aziz over Jadhav’s mom visa; assures medical visa to Pakistanis
New Delhi: In a series of blistering tweets, External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj today flayed Pakistan Prime Minister’s aide Sartaz Aziz on visa for Kulbhushan Jadhav’s mother so that she could visit the former Indian navy officer in prison and said the Mr Aziz has not shown the “courtesy” to acknowledge her missive.
“I wrote a personal letter to Mr Sartaj Aziz for the grant of her visa to Pakistan.
However, Mr Aziz has not shown the courtesy even to acknowledge my letter,” Ms Swaraj wrote in the micro blogging site.
“We also have a visa application pending for an Indian national Avantika Jadhav who wants to meet her son in Pakistan,” she wrote in reference to Jadhav’s mother.
At the same time, she said Pakistani nationals seeking medical treatment in India will be issued visas immediately if Sartaz Aziz recommends them. (UNI)
