Amarnath attack: Rajnath calls up J&K Guv, CM, ensures all help
New Delhi: In the wake of the terror attack on Amarnath pilgrims, where seven people were killed and other injured, Home Minister Rajnath Singh today called up Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti and Governor NN Vohra and took stock of the ground situation.
Mr Singh has also directed the officials to ensure foolproof security in future.
In a series of tweets, the Home Ministry said, “HM (Home Minister) spoke to Governor & CM of Jammu & Kashmir regarding the attack on Amarnath yatris.
They have apprised him of the ground situation.
” It also tweeted, “HM has asked the authority to ensure immediate and proper treatment of the injured yatris. (UNI)
