Appeals mainstreams, separatists to unite to save Kashmiris from further destruction
SRINAGAR: The Peoples’ Democratic Front (PDF) President and MLA Khansahib Hakim Mohammad Yasin while paying rich tributes to the July 13, 1931 martyrs today appealed the mainstream and separatist leaders to unite to save Kashmiris from further destruction.
“The July 13 martyrs gave their life for scared cause and with their blood they wrote a new chapter in the history of Kashmir. They laid their lives to uphold principal of natural justice and democracy. But unfortunately due to the continued and repeated errors of political leaders, the Kashmiris failed to achieve the objective for which the July 13 martyrs had offered supreme sacrifices of their lives,” Hakim Yasin said in a statement issued to press here on the eve of Martyrs’ day
Describing them heroes of the struggle against suppression and autocracy, he said, “The Martyrs ofJuly 13 laid their lives to uphold principal of natural justice and democracy. We have miserably failed to achieve the desired political objectives for which the 1931 martyrs had given their scared blood and as a result of which Kashmiris are still getting killed.”
The PDF chief appealed to all political leaders to adopt a joint stand and strategy and exert pressure on India and Pakistan to resolve Kashmir without any further delay.
