BHADERWAH: Three members of a family were reportedly buried alive when their house in the remote Tanta village of Khara in Doda district collapsed this afternoon following incessant rain over the past two days.According to official sources , the house of Mohd Abass at Tanta village, about 45 km from district headquarters Doda, collapsed following continuous rain fall as it was made of mud masonry . Mohd Abass , his wife and his daughter were buried alive under the debris. The deceased have been identified as Mohd Abass S/o Abdul Rashid Wani age 26 years R/o Tanta , Tasleema Bagum W/o Mohd Abass age 25 years R/o Tanta and their daughter Alya Banoo D/o Mohd Abass age 4 years R/o Tanta . The victims were fast asleep when the house collapsed. The locals launched a rescue operation in the morning and retrieve all dead bodies from the debris, sources further informed . Local people demanded immediate rehabilitation and compensation to victims .
