SOPORE: Auqaaf comiitte of Khankha-e-Moula on thursday claimed that government is giving them tough time for not fulfilling their promise. The president of Auqaaf comiitte told that during the times of late Mohammad Mufti Syed we have been informed that one crore has been sanctioned for the development and betterment of Khankha-e-Moula shrine , however soon after the announcement the tourism department started work and assured us to complete it as soon as possible.
Meanwhile the burhan turmoil takes u-turn in valley and it also affected the work of Khankha-e-Moula shrine , and work was stopped by the concern authority the Auqaaf Committee said. They added that we were informed at that time when things will be calm in valley work of the shrine will again start , but months gone nothing positive happened only fake hopes.
The Auqaaf committee of Khankha-e-Moula along with the group of senior residents of town while talking with reporters said that post burhan turmoil we again informed concern authorities for making their promise fulfill, however again we have been given hopes for starting the work at earliest , but all in vain as more than three months have gone but work is still pending.
Meanwhile the Auqaaf comiitte of Khankha-e-Moula of Sopore appealed the Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti to look into the matter and fulfil the promise of Late Mohammad Mufti Syed which he had announced for the betterment of Khankha-e-Moula Shrine.
