EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES FOR FEMALE CANDIDATES
SRINAGAR: The Army facilitated an employment drive in collaboration with The Takahata Corporation, an Indo-Japanese firm for ITI qualified female candidates from North Kashmir on 20-21 July 2017 at SSM College for Engineering & Technology.
The recruitment interviews were conducted by the General Manager, Mr Ratnesh Shanker, Ms Harshika Gupta and his team for employment of exclusively female candidates holding ITI diploma in any technical field and having knowledge of English language for their leading Indo-Japanese firm based in Neemrana, Alwar.
The female candidates were seen enthusiastic and participated whole heartedly for the interviews which included a detailed presentation by the company, a video clipping, written test and finally personal interviews by the recruiting staff. Total 109 females candidates came forward to grab this opportunity and submitted that they look forward for more such opportunities in future that will give them a chance for employment and career building.
Speaking on the occasion, the chief guest Major General A K Singh, Kilo Force Commander complimented the candidates for their enthusiastic response. He expressed his gratitude to the Takahata Corporation for their initiative and reaching out to the people of Kashmir, especially for empowering the women of the Valley. The GOC assured continued support of the Army in creating such opportunities for the betterment of society at large.
In the end, the GOC conveyed his gratitude to SSM College of Engineering & Technology for providing a conducive platform and congratulated the entire team for doing extremely praiseworthy works in proliferating quality education.
