Roads leading to UNMO office sealed to foil march

SRINAGAR: All roads leading to United Nations Military Observers (UNMO) office for India and Pakistan in summer capital of Jammu and Kashmir, Srinagar, were sealed to foil proposed separatist march this morning.
Both the factions of the Hurriyat Conference (HC) and Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) has called for a general strike and ‘UN office chalo’ today to protest against the alleged Human Right (HR), particularly killing, torture and arrest of youths, in the Kashmir valley by security forces.
Hundreds of security forces and state police personnel, holding automatic weapons and wearing bullet proof jackets were deployed on all roads leading to UNMO office at Sonawar in the heart of the city.
