Baramulla: A day long awareness programme on Goods and Services Tax (GST) was today organized at Sherwani Hall Baramulla in which a huge gathering of traders, industrialists, contractors and other entrepreneurs participated. Programme was organized by Commercial Tax Department circle Baramulla during which various speakers spoke on the topic.
On the occasion, the speakers deliberated on the new tax regime and highlighted various aspects of the GST. They stressed upon the traders and other concerned to opt for the scheme so as to yield the benefits. Moreover emphasis was laid on awareness dissemination among the masses so that every misconception about the law is eliminated.
Meanwhile question and answer session was also held at conclusion wherein the audience ask different questions on the topic and get their answers from the experts present.
Additional Deputy Commissioner Baramulla N.A.Baba,Assistant Commissioner Commercial Tax Hameeda Akhter,Tehsildar HQ Irfan Bahadur,CTO Parvaiz Ganai , Majeed-ul-Islam, Zahoor Bhat, Mohidin Malik and Aijaz Wani were present on the occasion.
