Kargil Like Situation Will Not Happen Again: Lt Gen D Anbu
Drass: Kargil like Situation will not repeat in the days to come as Indian army is totally prepared for any kind of eventualities.
This was stated by Lt Gen D Anbu GOC-IN-C Northern Command during the press briefing on the conclusion of Kargil Vijay Diwas Commemoration at Drass War memorial.
He further added that the LAC in the western Ladakh is disputed and is not demarked yet but we are trying to resolve this issue at every level.
Speaking on current Kashmir situation Lt Gen D Anbu said that the collaboration between Army, JK Police and Security Agencies is helping in eliminating terrorist in Kashmir. He said in Last three months we have eliminated 36 terrorists and foiled many infiltration attempts.
He further added that counter terrorism operation along with JK Police and CRPF has resulted that we have eliminated most of the leaders of the Terrorist organizations.
He further told that the relation between the people and the Indian is strengthening Day by day as result more than 14500 students are getting education in 45 schools all over J&K and are giving employment to more than 1000 youths.
Lt Gen D Anbu along with GOC 14th Crops PJS Pannu and all rank officers paid tribute to the martyrs and laid wreath at the Drass war memorial. He also interacted with Jawans, Veer Naris, and war heroes.
On this occasion, he further told that the relation between the people and the Indian is strengthing Day by day as result more than 14500 students are getting education in 45 schools all over J&K and is giving employment to more than 1000 youths.
