Black flags, stone pelting cannot push us behind, Rahul tweets from Gujarat
New Delhi: Congress Vice-President Rahul Gandhi today asserted that he and his party cannot be cowed down by stone pelters or staging black flags against him in Gujarat.
“Neither with pro-Narendra Modi slogans, black flags nor stone pelting, we can be pushed behind,” Mr Gandhi said in a tweet and maintained that his party will continue to help people in the flood-devastated areas of Gujarat.
The tweet from Mr Gandhi came within minutes there were reports that his car was stoned at flood-hit Banaskantha district.
Assembly elections are due in Gujarat by November-December later this year and the Rajya Sabha polls voting in the state due on August 8 is already seen a series of controversies. (UNI)
