Our resolve is freeing Kashmir of Pak-sponsored militancy: DGP Vaid

Srinagar: The Jammu and Kashmir Police on Monday assured that attempts are being made to normalise the situation in the Valley after Awantipora Police, 50 RR and CRPF jointly killed a Lashkar-e-Taiba’s (LeT) militant.

Deputy General, J-K, SP Vaid while speaking to said, “The resolve of security forces is to get freedom from the menace of pakistan sponsored militancy.”

Vaid informed that following a specific intelligence input about the presence of two to three militants in Samboora village, the Awantipura Police in joint efforts with the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) launched a cordon-and-search operation at Akram Dar Mohalla.
