SRINAGAR: Ahead of 15 August frisking, searching and security measures have been intensified in and around Srinagar city.
Police have erected barricades at several places in the city and its peripheries. Deployments of police personnel’s have been put in place at various places in the city as the high alert have been sounded across the valley.
Tight security arrangements have been made in and around Bakshi stadium where the main function of August 15 will be held.
Reports also said that security has been beefed up in the entire valley adding that apart from patrolling, vehicle checking and pedestrians frisking is being carried out.
