Transfer scandal in JKTDC: Telephone Operator becomes In-charge Bahnihal 

GM JKTDC despite transferred not in mood to relieve chair

Srinagar:  It has come to fore that Sajid Yahya  Naqash, former General Manager Jammu and Kashmir  Tourism Development Corporation (JKTDC)  is deliberately violating government orders and has not left his chair of from August 2 despite  got transferred from the post to Deputy Director Social Welfare, Kashmir.

According to reports, the concerned officer was transferred to the Social Welfare Department as Deputy Director whereas Shabnam Shafat Kamli has been posted as General Manager Jammu and Kashmir Tourism Development Corporation (JKTDC) under order no. 1006-GAD of 2017 dated 02-08-2017.

Due to unknown reasons the cornered officer is not relieving the chair and causing hurdles in handling the affairs of the department of Tourism.

Kashmir Press Service has learnt from reliable sources that General Manager Jammu and Kashmir Tourism Development Corporation (JKTDC) Sajid Yahya  Naqash was fifteen days before transferred to Social Welfare as Deputy Director but he has not relieved his present chair and has also not joined the posted department and is violating the government orders.  Despite several attempts by Shabnam Shafat Kamli to join as General Manager Jammu and Kashmir Tourism Development Corporation (JKTDC  were failed as Sajid Yahya  Naqash is reluctant to leave the chair by which work in both the offices has badly affected.

 

While as Sajid Yahya Naqash despite transferred on August 2 ordered himself as General Manager Jammu and Kashmir Tourism Development Corporation (JKTDC) on August 3 and transferred Bilal Ahmad Qureshi from Telephone Operator to In-charge Bahnihal and Ishrat Shah Deputy Manager Operations, Hotel Heemal to Audit section over which several employees have raised eyebrows over the transfer.

When contacted Commissioner Secretary, General Administration Department said, government matters take time and dropped the phone.

Meanwhile, B. B. Vyas, Chief Secretary told Kashmir Press Service that he will surely look into the matter and direct concerned officers take necessary steps.
