Srinagar: An emergency meeting of Employees Joint Action Committee was held at Central office under the President ship of Abdul Qayoom wani President EJAC . In the meeting the issue of 35(A) was threadbare discussed and all the leaders showed their serious concern against any attempt to dilute the special status of J&K and Article 35(A). Mr. Wani condemned any attempt to dilute special Status of J&K and Article 35(A). Wani said that Employees are the part of the society and will never remain silent on the sensitive issue, diluting the special status of the J&K . Mr. Wani said that it is the moral obligation of every state Subject without caste, creed , colour, region and religion to raise voice against any move which will damage the special status of the J&K and will change the demography of the state. Wani said that EJAC will explore all the legal and democratic ways to defend the special status. Mr. Wani said that any move to damage the special status will prove detrimental for the peace of the state. In the meeting it was unanimously decided to have peaceful One hour sit in darana at Press Colony Srinagar on 28th of August . All the leaders of different organiszations affiliated with EJAC will participate in peaceful sit-in at Press Colony 12 Noon. Mr. Wani appealed the employees fraternity to be united at this crucial stage to defend the special Status of the State .
