Srinagar, Aug 26 : A constable of Jammu and Kashmir police was killed and five other security personnel were injured in a fidayeen attack on District Police Lines (DPL) in south Kashmir district of Pulwama early this morning.
Official sources told UNI that a fidayeen group stormed into DPL at Pulwama after heavily firing on security guards.
Six security personnel were injured, they said.
One of the injured security personnel later died.
Heavily armed militants later entered a building in the DPL, they said, adding that massive operation was going on against the holed up militants. (UNI)
