Srinagar: A day long awareness programme on Goods and Services Tax (GST) was today organized at Baramulla, Anatnag and Sopore in which a huge gathering of traders, contractors and other entrepreneurs participated. Programme was organized by respective Commercial Tax Department circles during which various speakers spoke on the topic.
On the occasion, the speakers deliberated on the new tax regime and highlighted various aspects of the GST returns and transition of stocks.
Meanwhile question and answer session was also held at conclusion wherein the audience ask different questions on the topic and get their answers from the experts present.
Commercial Tax officer Baramulla Majeed-ul-Islam, CTOs Dr Bashir Ahmad and Parvaiz Ahmad CTO Sopore, were present on the occasion at Sopore and Baramulla, General Secretary Baramulla Beopar Mandal Er. Tariq Ahamad and various other concerned were present at Baramulla. AT SOPORE President traders Federation Ashraf Ganai was presented. At Anatnag CTO Hamid Ganai provided training to the traders present.
