Ratlam, MP, Aug 29: Five pilgrims, including four women and a girl, were killed and 17 others injured when their tractor trolley overturned on the Lasudia-Semlia Road in the wee hours today, police said.
The victims – who hailed from Barkheda Khurd village – were returning after ‘darshan’ at Sanwariyaji when tractor trolley driver lost control due to heavy rains. The incident occurred at around 0200 hrs.
The deceased were identified as Bhuri Singh (14), Shardabai (22), Ramkunwar Bai (35), Kamal Bai (35) and Antar Bai (50). The injured were rushed to a nearby hospital in ‘Dial 100’ police vehicle. Those in critical condition were referred to the District Hospital. (UNI)
