Shopian : Sub-inspector of Jammu and Kashmir police shot at in Shopian.
A sub-inspector (SI) of Jammu and Kashmir Police was shot at by gunmen in a village in Shopian district of south Kashmir on Thursday.
Sources said that SI Gowhar Ahmad was playing volleyball at his native Chotipora village.
He was called by the gunmen before they fired in his legs.
The injured cop has been taken to a hospital for treatment, said an official.
