Srinagar, Sep 16 : Alert troops foiled a major infiltration bid when they gunned down two militants near the Line of Control (LoC) in the frontier district of Kupwara this morning, official sources said.
The operation was still going on when the reports last came in, they said, adding that additional security forces have been rushed from nearby camps to further tighten the cordon in the dense forest. (UNI)
