Kadapa, Oct 6 : A 16-year-old student allegedly committed suicide in her hostel room at Krishanpuram, here early Friday.
Pavani, hailing from Bakarapet of Chittoor district, was pursuing Intermediate course first year (MPC) at a Corporate college.
She took the extreme step by hanging from a ceiling fan.
The hostel authority who noticed it immediately rushed her to nearby hospital where the doctors declared that she brought dead, police said.
A case has been registered and investigation is on, police added.(UNI)
