GANDERBAL, OCT 07: Commissioner Secretary to Government, Department of Food Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs, Mr. Shafiq Ahmad Raina accompanied by Director Food Civil supplies and Consumer Affairs today reviewed the working of FCS&CA department in a meeting convened at DC office Ganderbal.
Threadbare discussions were held on various issues which mainly include Stock and Supply position of FCS&CA food grains, Distribution of Ration Tickets and Aadhar Seedling and functioning of the Department in the District.
The Assistant Director Food, Ganderbal appraised chair with the performance of the
FSC&CA department Ganderbal.
During the meeting, the Commissioner Secretary to Govt. Department of FCS&CA said that
government is committed to provide corruption free, transparent and accountable administration to the people of the state.
Commissioner Secretary to Govt. Department of FCS&CA directed A.D food, Ganderbal Mrs
Erim Aziz Khan to rationalize the scale of distribution of ration & k.oil and to maintain uniform
scale of ration per family throughout the district.
Commissioner Secretary to Govt. Department of FCS&CA asked the A.D food to ensure 100
percent linkage of ADHAAR number with ration cards in the district.
“Consumer is more important and his satisfaction is the priority of the department”, said the
Director FCS&CA. In this regard, he directed for distribution of ration cards on fast track
basis, and asked the concerned A.D and TSO’s to monitor the process. Besides, he called
for intensified market checking on regular basis for preventing food adulteration, profiteering
and black marketing.
Among others, Director FCS&CA, Mr. Nissar Ahmad Wani, A.D FCS&CA Ganderbal, Mrs
Erim Aziz Khan, Chief Inspector Ganderbal, all TSO’s, and other concerned officials of
FCS&CA Department Ganderbal attended the meeting.
