Srinagar, Oct 18 : Curfew-like restrictions, imposed in some parts of Civil Lines in this summer capital on Tuesday to prevent law and order problem, were lifted on Wednesday.
The restrictions in Maisuma, strong hold of Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF), were on Tuesday imposed following massive clashes between security forces and demonstrators, who were protesting against a braid chopping incident in the area on Monday.
Official sources said that restrictions have been lifted from Maisuma following improvement in the situation though security forces remained deployed in strength to maintain law and order.
